The School of Geography, Planning and Environmental Policy is advertising a Post-Doctoral research position looking at cities.
The research project, which is a EU 6th framework project, explores city and regional competitiveness with a particular focus on the idea of the creative class and the creative city.
Candidates should have a PhD (or be near to completion of a PhD) in urban/economic/regional geography or in a related subject. For further information about the post please contact Dr. Declan Redmond at declan.redmond@ucd.ie
The post is funded by the European Commission and is for two years, starting on September 1st 2008. Salary is approximately €38,000 to €45,000 per annum depending on qualifications and experience.
